Société Pole-Lite Limitée quickly became a leader in the lighting post market in Quebec in the 1970’s after a modest beginning in the late 1950’s. In 1975, the company acquired the Lord and Sons Company and became a reference in the road lighting market after adding steel to it’s aluminum product line.

In the early 90’s, Métal Pole-Lite inc. and Union Metal Corp., the oldest North American lighting post company still in operation, are bought by the European group Petit Jean. This added a European touch to the decorative evolution of the product style.

Today, as in the beginning, Métal Pole-Lite inc. continues to distinguish itself with its innovation, expertise and durability.
